About the SAGE Approach to Learning Study
Dr. Ensmann focuses on effective intructional design in both hybrid and online learning. She is most specifically interested in combining students computing skills, such as gaming, with into teaching and learning.
Ensmann also believes in the importance of global education, and community servant leadership. Digital game-based learning can envoke empathy from learners which can encourage learners to advocate for improvement. She has earned several grants and special project funding. |
Dr. White specializes in technical communication, information design, and introductory writing. Due to her years working as an information design consultant, she is able to provide students industry experience and an authentic approach to improving their writing skills. She has done research on social presence, learning environments, technology-enhanced learning, and instructor reflection which has been published in various magazines and won multiple awards.
